Yilmaz Dogan's latest creation, the Orb sideboard, has been honored with the Bronze A' Furniture Design Award in 2025, recognizing its outstanding blend of historical inspiration and modern design. Drawing from the sweeping circular and linear forms of the Ancient Roman Hippodrome in Istanbul, Orb captures the spirit of a centuries-old gathering place while delivering a fresh, elegant statement for today's interiors. The sideboard's symmetrical silhouette, aerodynamic curves, and gold-accented details evoke Art Deco glamour, seamlessly integrated with Byzantine architectural influences.

What sets Orb apart is its innovative functionality. The sideboard features a unique circular side door mechanism, developed through custom hinge engineering, allowing the doors to open smoothly without occupying additional space. Inside, adjustable shelves accommodate bottles and accessories of varying heights, while the interior is finished in a rich Bosphorus Deep blue, offering both practicality and refined aesthetics. Crafted from hand-shaped wood, finished with high-quality lacquer, and adorned with precision-cut metal accents, Orb exemplifies meticulous craftsmanship and luxurious appeal.

Designed in Istanbul and manufactured in Ankara, Orb is the result of extensive research into ancient architectural forms and modern furniture needs.
