S6 Foundry, led by Paul Robb, introduces a vibrant brand system and campaign targeting international designers and communication buyers, inspired by traditional funfair signwriting and optical art.

S6 Foundry, based in Italy, has unveiled a new brand system and campaign designed by Paul Robb, Moira Bartoloni, and Federica Simone. The branding system draws inspiration from the works of Clichés Schwitter, Gunnar Lilleng, and Max Bill, as well as optical artists Bridget Riley and Franco Grignani, resulting in a visual language that captures the joy and wonder of eclectic typeface design.
The newly created brand identity symbolizes a fresh beginning for S6 Foundry, positioning the brand to appeal to international designers and communication buyers. The campaign's interaction spans traditional outdoor and online social campaigns, reflecting the dynamic attitude of the digital foundry.
Printed lithographically using FSC papers, the brand system's hard-back book features 128 pages with CMYK on splendorgel FSC 160gsm. The project, which commenced in April 2020, is ongoing and has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in Print and Published Media Design in 2021.
