CENTRESTAGE 2024 Showcases Global Fashion Innovation and Avant-Garde Design in Hong Kong

CENTRESTAGE 2024, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), reaffirmed its status as Asia's leading fashion event by bringing together 250 brands from 17 countries and regions at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Over four days, the event provided an influential platform for designers, industry professionals, and fashion enthusiasts to explore the latest trends, network, and launch new collections. Themed around the synergy of craftsmanship and technological advancement, this year's edition captivated attendees with its bold red motif, symbolizing passion and progress in the fashion world.

The event's highlights included the prestigious CENTRESTAGE ELITES show, held at the Hong Kong Palace Museum on September 3. This exclusive gala, inspired by the concepts of "HOME" and "Circle," featured a circular runway and a striking incense mountain installation made from over 150,000 incense sticks. The show blended traditional artistry with modern lighting and projection technologies, creating an immersive haute couture experience and showcasing the dynamic transformation of fashion across eras. AI-generated models and interactive digital elements further enhanced the spectacle, reflecting the event's commitment to innovation.

Throughout CENTRESTAGE 2024, visitors experienced a thoughtfully curated environment divided into five thematic zones-Craftmanship, Urban, Contemporary, Athleisure, and Circular Fashion. The meticulously designed spaces, including a 10-meter interactive floor and vibrant neon LED installations, offered a multisensory journey through the evolution of fashion. With seminars, networking sessions, and fashion tours, the event fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, solidifying Hong Kong's role as a global hub for fashion and creative industries.
