HONG KONG (CHINA) -- /INNOVATION/newswire -- Nov 15, 2023

The 32nd Hong Kong Book Fair, organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, brought together over 700 exhibitors and offered a diverse experience for shoppers from 20 to 26 July 2022 at the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre HKCEC in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Neo-composition of Hong Kong Heritage and Traditional Symbols

A Neo-composition of Hong Kong heritage and traditional symbols was the inspiration behind the unique graphic series at the 32nd Hong Kong Book Fair. Elements from old literatures and objects, book binding, and flipping methods were used to create a series that portrayed the key message of each display through bold icons and solid colors.

The fair, covering 55100 m2 exhibition space, featured the Art Gallery: City Literature, HK Architecture, and Taste of Hong Kong zones, each surrounded by aluminum system structures with polycarbonate panels and glass showcases. The display items were prefabricated off-site and assembled onsite, incorporating biodegradable carpets for sustainability.

The fair aimed to bring Hong Kong citizens together and encourage them to seek out motivational books that can empower them to face the challenges ahead, and to emerge stronger after the pandemic.
