The "Double Moon" wall lamp collection by Alexey Danilin, developed in collaboration with Maytoni, has earned the prestigious Silver A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award for 2025. Drawing inspiration from the rare gravitational capture event in 2024, when Earth temporarily hosted a second natural satellite, Danilin translated this celestial occurrence into a series of lamps that evoke the allure and mystery of the cosmos. The collection's design pays homage to the enduring human fascination with celestial bodies as sources of both natural and artificial light.

What sets the "Double Moon" lamps apart is their innovative use of technology and materials to create a mesmerizing lighting effect. Each lamp features a metal base housing dual LED boards, positioned above and below, and concealed by matte diffusers for a soft, ambient glow. The glass spheres, finished with a mirrored tinted gradient, reflect and refract the light, casting intricate patterns and smooth highlights on surrounding walls and the glass itself. This thoughtful approach not only enhances visual appeal but also ensures the lamps provide ample illumination for a variety of interior settings.

Designed for versatility, the "Double Moon" lamps can be installed vertically or horizontally, making them suitable for diverse applications-whether as bedside lighting, desk illumination, or accent lighting in living spaces.
