Magpie Table Lamp: A Symbol of Happiness and Vitality

Sha Yang introduces the Magpie table lamp, inspired by the symbolism of happiness and vitality associated with the magpie bird. The lamp's design embodies hope and positivity, aiming to spread its wings with a positive attitude and full of vitality and passion. The combination of the magpie and spreading wings not only carries a beautiful moral but also exudes life vitality. The lamp's simple form makes it suitable for various settings, including living rooms, bedrooms, and offices, offering a sense of positive energy to users.

The Magpie table lamp stands out with its three distinctive forms, each serving a unique purpose. The first form represents the folded magpie homing, providing a small and mild light source that is ideal for small night lights in bedrooms. The second form, a vertical head stop as if looking around to take off, illuminates a larger area and is suitable for office spaces. The third form, the take-off spread wings and fly high, exudes a high-energy vibe, making it a versatile and dynamic lighting solution.

Manufactured using model printing technology, the lamp boasts a diameter of 85mm and a total height of 410mm. Its bionic bird design features a base height of 300mm, with the length of the head and tail measuring 330mm, and the wings spanning 170mm. The lamp's interaction is facilitated by a cylindrical body with a contact button at the bottom, allowing users to seamlessly switch between the three forms with a simple touch.

Sha Yang's Magpie table lamp is a testament to innovative design and technological advancement. Its dynamic modeling and practical lighting capabilities make it suitable for a variety of settings, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The project, initiated in July 2021, was successfully completed in Shanghai, China, in January 2022, showcasing the designer's dedication and expertise in bringing this unique concept to life.

The Magpie table lamp has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022, highlighting its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. This accolade underscores the lamp's strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, introducing positive feelings, amazement, and wonder to its users.
