Uno: Eco Smart Garden by Marco Coletti

Uno, a self-watering terracotta pot, draws inspiration from the hortus conclusus of medieval cloisters, integrating ancient traditions with modern eco-friendly design. The watering technology, named Olla, is a nod to Roman practices, now inverted to support plant growth. The pot's automated system and optimal porosity make it user-friendly, even for those without a green thumb. Uno's modular, asymmetric design is available in various colors and limited editions, with the added functionality of accommodating a metal frame for the Meno growing lamp, giving rise to additional products: Due and Tre.

Comprising a glazed ceramic container for water and an unglazed terracotta vase, Uno's design is a result of meticulous research into terracotta's porosity and dimensions, creating the ideal environment for stress-free plant growth at home. The product specifications include materials, dimensions, and packaging details, emphasizing its eco-friendly composition and Italian craftsmanship.

Marco Coletti's Uno project, initiated in 2018 between Paris and Treviso, culminated in its exhibition at the Salone del Mobile in 2021, showcasing its evolution alongside the publication of a dedicated book. The final version optimizes the base for hosting the metal support of the grow lamp, marking a significant milestone in the project's journey.
