Takusei Kajitani introduces Consentable WT Ao, a revolutionary PC work desk designed to enhance the work-from-home experience for modern PC users. Consentable WT Ao is a PC work desk that seamlessly integrates functionality and aesthetics. Crafted with the intention of providing a calm and serene work environment, the desk features various storage compartments to discreetly conceal wirings and devices, ensuring a clutter-free workspace. The top plate, made of indigo-dyed wood grains, evokes the tranquility of the sea surface, adding a touch of elegance to any home office.

Constructed using traditional Japanese Aizome dyeing technology, the desk showcases the meticulous craftsmanship of Japanese artisans. The indigo dyeing process involves multiple hand-dyeing sessions, resulting in a glossy finish that transforms the wood grains, resembling the serene surface of the sea.

The desk's technical specifications include dimensions of 1150mm in width, 600mm in depth, and 700mm in height. The legs and top plate are meticulously crafted from solid black cherry, with a laminated plywood top plate, both featuring the exquisite indigo dyeing finish.

Designed to streamline the user's interaction with digital devices, Consentable WT Ao offers practical solutions for organizing cords and wirings. The desk includes grooves on the legs to discreetly hide an OA tap code, providing a seamless power source for all digital devices. Furthermore, the wiring space behind the top plate allows for the neat storage of power cords and USB wirings, safeguarding them from dust and maintaining a tidy workspace.

The PC work desk project commenced in Tokyo in April 2014, with the initial model, Consentable WT, being exhibited at prestigious design events such as Tokyo Design Week, Salone del Mobile, and Paris Design Week. The culmination of the project resulted in the completion of Consentable WT Ao in June 2020, featuring the distinctive indigo dyeing finish.
