Discover the innovative community clubhouse, White Mountain, designed by Kris Lin, which integrates the concept of mountain shapes to create a landscape-style building, reducing interference with the urban environment.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kris Lin's White Mountain is a community clubhouse that reimagines future community life, drawing inspiration from the shape of rolling hills to create a surficial landscape that extends to the visual surface of the building. Located in Nanjing, surrounded by natural landscape resources such as Zijin Mountain and Hongshan Forest Zoo, the project seamlessly integrates the concept of mountain shapes to form a unique urban landscape space.
The clubhouse, spanning 2000sqm, combines surficial landscape space and underground construction, utilizing GRC as a new building material to shape the entire landscape installation and the facade of the building. This approach not only weakens the building's perception of solidity but also reduces its interference with the urban environment, maintaining the continuity of the urban landscape space.
White Mountain serves as a place for exchanges and gatherings, aiming to promote family and neighborhood relationships, becoming a city node that stimulates public energy. The project, which commenced in April 2020 and was completed in August 2020, was exhibited in Nanjing in the same year, showcasing its innovative design and functionality.
