Zenta Collection: Award-Winning Zen Tea Tables Redefine Relaxation and Mindfulness in Modern Living Spaces

Phan Van Tin's Zenta Collection, a series of Zen tea tables inspired by the tranquil philosophies of Japanese dry gardens, has been awarded the prestigious Silver A' Furniture Design Award for 2025. Developed between April and July 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the Zenta Collection stands out for its innovative fusion of form, function, and interactive meditation, inviting users to experience tea drinking as a mindful ritual.

The Zenta tea tables are meticulously crafted using advanced CNC technology and metal bending, resulting in elegant forms that evoke the imagery of mountains, rocks, and waves. Each table features a sand raking area, allowing users to engage in dynamic meditation-a practice rooted in Zen tradition-directly on the table's surface. This interactive element transforms the act of tea drinking into a meditative experience, encouraging relaxation and the release of negative energy.

Measuring 2000 mm in width, 600 mm in depth, and 400 mm in height, the tables are designed with natural, uneven curves and an arrangement inspired by the principles of Japanese dry gardens, such as the use of triangles and odd numbers. The designated teapot area doubles as a tea rinsing station, enhancing the sensory experience with the illusion of waves. The Zenta Collection's unique approach to blending functional furniture with psychological well-being has set a new benchmark in relaxation furniture, earning international recognition for its creativity, technical excellence, and positive emotional impact.
