Amor Jimenez Chito, a renowned yacht designer based in Malaga, Spain, has achieved global recognition with the One 16, a hybrid jetski boat that has secured the Golden A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award for 2025. The One 16 was conceived in response to the increasing demand for versatile, compact vessels that cater to both thrill-seekers and social boating enthusiasts. By merging the agility and excitement of a jet ski with the comfort and communal features of a small boat, Chito's design offers a unique solution for a new generation of water lovers.

The One 16 stands out for its innovative plug-and-play system, allowing users to easily attach a personal watercraft to the main hull, transforming it into a 6-meter boat capable of accommodating up to six people. Built using advanced composite materials and vacuum infusion technology, the vessel achieves a lightweight yet robust structure, ensuring both high-speed performance and stability. With a top speed exceeding 30 knots and a cruising speed between 14 and 20 knots, the One 16 is ideal for both adrenaline-fueled adventures and leisurely outings. Its adaptable deck layout features a convertible bow table, sunbathing area, and ample storage, including space for a portable refrigerator, enhancing both leisure and functionality on the water.

Designed and manufactured entirely in Spain, the One 16 project began in 2023 and launched its first unit in April 2024. The development process involved extensive research and testing to optimize the interaction between the jet ski and the hull, with particular focus on hydrodynamic efficiency, weight distribution, and user-friendly operation. Customization options, such as bold color choices and material selections, allow owners to personalize their vessel.
