Conceived and handcrafted in Nova Petropolis, Brazil, between January and June 2024, the Anima armchair draws inspiration from the playful symmetry and organic beauty of Brazil's rich biodiversity. Verona's immersive research involved field observations and sketches of native plants and animals, translating their intricate forms into a design that evokes the uplifting sensations of nature.

What sets the Anima armchair apart is its fusion of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The creative process began with hand drawings and manual woodworking, ensuring each curve and contour reflected the authenticity of natural forms. This was followed by 3D scanning of the physical prototype, enabling precise manufacturing on a 5-axis CNC machine while preserving the armchair's organic lines. Made from Tauari Brazilian reforestation wood and natural Brazilian cotton fabric, the armchair offers both visual and emotional comfort, enveloping users in a cocoon of relaxation reminiscent of a serene walk in the wild.

Its dimensions-880 mm wide, 900 mm deep, and 700 mm high-make it a statement piece for any interior, inviting users to experience the calming influence of nature indoors.
