ISTANBUL, TURKEY - June 2024 - The 37XP Maya, a 37-meter superyacht designed by Rezzan Benardete and delivered in Bodrum, has been honored with the Golden A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award 2025, recognizing its seamless blend of luxury, comfort, and innovative design that redefines the concept of a floating home for modern yachting enthusiasts.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The 37XP Maya, the latest addition to the Numarine yacht family, stands out as a superyacht that masterfully combines elegance, comfort, and technological innovation. Conceived by acclaimed designer Rezzan Benardete, Maya was inspired by the idea of a floating home, offering owners and guests a unique experience where privacy and togetherness coexist in perfect harmony. Every area on board is thoughtfully designed to provide equal amenities, allowing each individual to enjoy their own space while also creating opportunities for memorable gatherings throughout the yacht.
Maya's interior is a testament to bespoke luxury, featuring iconic furniture, curated works of art, and expansive windows that flood the 1,200-square-meter space with natural light. The yacht's advanced touchscreen interface enables intuitive control of navigation, lighting, and onboard systems, while features such as automatic swim platform deployment and large opening windows enhance accessibility and panoramic views. The use of lightweight composites and marine-grade aluminum, combined with CNC machining and advanced lamination, ensures both durability and efficiency, resulting in superior performance and fuel economy.
The design and production of Maya began in Istanbul in November 2022, with a fully customized interior layout tailored to the owner's vision. The project overcame significant creative and technical challenges, including the development of a unique layout that comfortably accommodates at least 12 guests in both private and communal spaces. Extensive research, including input from yacht owners, design professionals, and maritime experts, informed the design's focus on sustainability, user-centric innovation, and timeless aesthetics. Delivered in June 2024, Maya not only sets a new standard for superyacht luxury but also reflects a growing industry shift toward eco-friendly practices and enhanced onboard experiences.
