HDL Automation Co., Ltd. has achieved international recognition by winning the Bronze A' Digital and Electronic Device Design Award 2025 for its Fanora smart switch panel. Drawing inspiration from the folding fans historically favored by Chinese literati, Fanora reimagines this symbol of cultural refinement as a high-end smart home control terminal. The panel, launched in China in October 2024 after development in Guangzhou, stands out for its seamless fusion of traditional aesthetics and modern technology, offering users both beauty and advanced functionality in their living spaces.

Fanora's design distinguishes itself through its elegant folding fan shape, crafted from premium 6063 aluminium alloy and adorned with a pendant made of natural Hetian jade. The panel features eight ergonomically curved buttons, each produced with CNC technology for effortless operation and a refined tactile experience. Embedded sensors within the jade pendant enable automatic adjustment of lighting and air conditioning, adapting to real-time environmental conditions and enhancing personalized comfort. The Scene Capture function allows users to save and restore their preferred settings with a single press, further elevating convenience and customization.

The development of Fanora responded to evolving user demands for smart home products that go beyond utility, emphasizing personalization, cultural value, and visual appeal. The design team overcame significant challenges in replicating the intricate structure of a folding fan while integrating advanced smart technology and custom features such as energy management and scene customization.
