Flore Collection: Award-Winning Gradient Pink Glass Furniture by Jun Wang

Jun Wang, alongside team members Shuxia Qiu, Ziyi Liu, Guofeng Hu, and Zhenghua Hu, has received the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award 2025 for Flore, a collection of single-seat sofas and side tables crafted from gradient pink glass. Conceived in Venice, Italy, and completed in June 2024, Flore draws inspiration from the gentle glow of morning light on flower petals, translating this natural elegance into furniture that radiates serenity and poetic charm.

Each Flore piece is meticulously handcrafted using advanced glass-blowing techniques, combining free-hand and mold shaping to achieve fluid, organic forms. The gradient pink hue is realized through a precise layering process, resulting in seamless color transitions that evoke the unfolding of petals. The sofa's rounded contours embrace the user, offering a comforting retreat, while the side table doubles as a striking decorative object, both pieces exuding a sense of lightness and tranquility.

The design team overcame significant technical challenges, including perfecting the gradient effect and ensuring the structural integrity of the glass.
