Cyber Yoke Steering Wheel: A Fusion of Technology, Comfort, and Artistic Expression for Tesla Vehicles

Agiling, an emerging automotive design brand from Guangzhou, has achieved international recognition by winning the Bronze A' Design Award 2025 in the Vehicle Parts and Auto Accessories category for its Cyber Yoke steering wheel. Designed specifically for Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, the Cyber Yoke reimagines traditional steering wheel forms by combining the ergonomic benefits of both circular and half-spoke designs. Its distinctive oval-rectangle rim not only improves forward visibility for drivers but also reflects a strong sense of technology and futurism.

The Cyber Yoke stands out with its innovative use of color gradient fabrics inspired by Van Gogh's paintings, offering a unique blend of aesthetics and practicality. The double-ring construction features different materials and colors on the inner and outer rings, creating a visually layered effect. The five-layer manufacturing process includes a one-piece die-cast frame, dual layers of PU foam, a built-in heating patch, and a hand-wrapped surface mat, ensuring both comfort and durability. The product's development involved extensive research, 3D modeling, and multiple iterations to perfect the foaming mold and fabric extensibility, overcoming significant technical challenges in manufacturing and quality control.

Installation of the Cyber Yoke is straightforward, allowing Tesla owners to upgrade their steering wheels by transferring original components onto the new design. The project began in December 2023 in Guangzhou, secured a patent in August 2024, and will enter mass production by the end of 2024. The Cyber Yoke's recognition at the A' Design Awards underscores Agiling's commitment to advancing human-machine interaction and setting new standards in automotive interior design.
