The U100 film, launched in June 2024, is engineered to address the pressing need for enhanced driving safety and comfort in challenging conditions such as high-speed travel, rough roads, and sandstorms. By leveraging a five-layer structure and advanced optical TPU material, U100 delivers exceptional scratch resistance, impact protection, and visibility, setting a new standard for automotive windshield defense.
Unlike conventional protective films, U100 is specifically designed for external windshield application, boasting a robust 6 mil thickness, a tensile strength of 40.78 MPa, and an elongation at break exceeding 260 percent. These properties ensure the film can evenly distribute external forces, minimizing damage from flying debris and accidental impacts. In the event of glass breakage, U100's strong adhesive properties hold shattered fragments in place, preventing secondary injuries and further enhancing occupant safety. The film's high light transmittance rate of up to 95 percent, combined with its ability to block 20 percent of infrared rays and 100 percent of UV rays, ensures a bright, comfortable, and protected cabin environment.
Installation and maintenance are made remarkably simple with U100's fully removable pressure-sensitive adhesive technology. The film can be applied without heating, wetting, or chemicals, and removed cleanly without residue, streamlining both initial installation and future maintenance.
