Origami Mask by Atsushi Morita

Renowned designer Atsushi Morita introduces the Origami Mask, a fusion of tradition and fashion designed for special occasions. Inspired by the traditional origami technique and the functionality of washi paper, this innovative mask is a symbol of Japanese heritage and modern style.

The project, which commenced in May 2020 and launched in November 2020, was distributed at a coming-of-age celebration in a washi production area in January 2021. The mask's unique design allows it to be compact when packaged, expanding into a dome shape when in use, providing both functionality and style.

Atsushi Morita's Origami Mask was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence. The mask is a testament to the designer's commitment to creating new value in paper and printing while embracing the rich heritage of Japanese artistry.
