Lumin Wave, designed by Esma Nur Aydın and her team in Istanbul, has been awarded the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category for 2025. This pendant lamp stands out for its innovative approach, drawing inspiration from the visual rhythm of sound waves to create a striking interplay between light, form, and space. The design's spiral mesh diffuser and vertically structured silhouette offer both sculptural presence and functional illumination, making it a centerpiece for modern interiors.

The lamp's construction utilizes CNC-machined wooden bodies and laser-cut metal details, resulting in a harmonious blend of natural warmth and contemporary refinement. Integrated high-efficiency LED modules, optimized for thermal management and longevity, provide even, eye-friendly illumination. Users can adjust both color and brightness, allowing for customizable ambiance to suit various settings. The parametric modeling techniques employed ensure precision in the wave-inspired form, while the careful selection of materials prioritizes sustainability and durability.

Throughout the design process, Esma Nur Aydın and her collaborators overcame significant challenges, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.
