Moderna: Timeless Elegance and Modern Craftsmanship

Moderna, a sideboard designed by Dogtas Design Team, is a harmonious blend of timeless elegance and modern craftsmanship. Inspired by the Monument created for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye, it carries the heritage and genetic codes of the nation, seamlessly blending today's trends with traces of the past. The light line extending along the top plate symbolizes infinity, representing the product's timeless nature.

The sideboard features thickened side panels veneered with Anatolian walnut, complemented by ribbed bronze glass doors crafted using fusion technique. The interior and exterior lighting system with touch sensors ensures functional integrity, while the travertine block bottom panel with a metal leg emphasizes its exclusivity with an illuminated brand logo.

Measuring 2300mm in length, 500mm in depth, and 700mm in height, Moderna is a statement piece that seamlessly fits into both classic and modern interiors.

Moderna becomes the focal point of any living space, combining genetic codes from natural materials into a modern and timeless console. The sparkling and wavy silhouette visible behind the ribbed bronze glass doors highlights the luxurious and modern line of the product, while the illuminated glass shelf and functional drawer with an organizer inside offer both elegance and practicality.

The project started in August 2023 in Istanbul and was completed in December 2023, with the sideboard being exhibited at the Istanbul Furniture Fair in January 2024. Moderna was designed to emphasize Doğtaş's strong and eye-catching stance, aiming for a unique exclusive design that reflects the brand's core values in quality and aesthetics.

Moderna was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2024, recognizing its outstanding expertise, innovation, and remarkable level of excellence in design.
