HUED designed an out-of-this-world virtual experience for Miro's Distributed 2020, delivering an immersive space-themed event for 30K registrants.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HUED, Saudi Arabia's leading service design and innovation agency, astounded attendees at Miro's Distributed 2020 with a captivating virtual event experience. In response to the challenges posed by the global pandemic, HUED crafted a unique, immersive virtual experience that transported 30,000 participants to a space-themed world, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional on-ground events.
The HUED team utilized Adobe Illustrator and the Miro platform to create 55 interactive and engaging boards, allowing guests to learn, network, and attend workshops during the conference. Participants navigated from planet to planet, exploring key event locations and engaging with tailored activities, all within a visually stunning space-themed environment.
Users accessed the main board, Miro Mission Control, resembling a galaxy, and then explored 18 different boards, including the Agenda board, Code of Conduct, Feedback Wall, and Studio. The project, which commenced on October 5th, 2020, was delivered on October 12th, 2020, despite the 11-hour time difference between Riyadh and California, where the Miro team is based.
HUED's dedication to creating a seamless virtual experience for Miro Distributed 2020 earned the agency an Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing their innovative and practical approach to virtual event design. This accomplishment further solidifies HUED's position as a pioneer in the design industry, driving the growth of design awareness and expertise in Saudi Arabia.
