Lixia Huang Unveils the Innovative Pet Bowl Set

Lixia Huang, a renowned designer from Shenzhen, China, has unveiled the Pawsome Pace Control Kit, a revolutionary pet bowl set aimed at improving pets' eating habits and wellness. This innovative design addresses the potential health risks associated with fast eating and wobbling pet bowls, offering a solution that promotes controlled feeding and stability.

The Pet Food Bowl Set comprises a figure “8” shape silicone bowl, a feed divider, and a slow feeding mat for liquid food. It is designed to slow down eating speed, improve wellness, and eating habits, offering impressive applicability and compatibility with most food bowl sizes available on the market. The components are made of food-grade standard non-hazard silicone material, ensuring safety and durability.

Each component of the Pawsome Pace Control Kit can be used alone or in combination with other products. The figure “8” shape silicone bowl contains two separate bowls for pet feed and water/liquid food, while the feed divider and slow feeding mat help in dividing and slowing down feeding. The vacuum suction mechanism on the bottom ensures stability, preventing wobbling and shifting during use.

The project, which commenced in October 2023 and concluded in December 2023 in Shenzhen, was driven by extensive research on pet behavior and color perception. The blue and yellow colors of the set were chosen to provide a highly adaptable and recognizable visual experience for pets, catering to their limited color vision compared to humans.

Lixia Huang's Pawsome Pace Control Kit has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies, and Products for Animals category in 2024. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the design's outstanding creativity, technical skill, and contribution to improving the quality of life for pets and their owners.
