Revolutionary Satellite Cup Redefines On-the-Go Drinkware

Shanghai Grand Trade Co.,Ltd. presents the Satellite Cup, a groundbreaking solution to the safety risks posed by traditional car cup holders. The cup's alternating magnetic attraction system allows for seamless, unrestricted opening and closing, eliminating the need for users to confirm the opening direction. This innovative design significantly reduces driver distraction and the potential for accidents while operating a vehicle.

The Satellite Cup's dual-function water-blocking component aligns the water outlet and air inlet on the same axis, ensuring effortless maintenance of the desired open or closed state with just a gentle push. Crafted from food-grade PP and stainless steel, this vacuum insulated tumbler comes in two capacities: 380ml and 470ml, with dimensions of 82*82*133mm and 82*82*161mm respectively.

The project, which commenced in May 2022 and concluded in March 2023 in Shanghai, was driven by extensive research into driver distraction and accidents caused by challenging-to-use water cups. The team overcame creative and technical challenges to realize the cup's unrestricted rotation and magnetic positioning, resulting in the award of a utility model patent (ZL 202222762628.8) and an appearance patent (ZL 202230684959.7).
