Nikolay Vladykin presents Balestra, a multifunctional table designed to meet contemporary functional needs and sustainable design trends. Inspired by Italian modernism, the table offers a comprehensive rest experience for individuals in lounge zones and living rooms. Its innovative design reduces the load on the cardiovascular and muscular systems of the body, promoting comfort and relaxation.
The table's unique features include specially designed pads for resting legs, a small shelf for convenient storage of items, and a sleek, midcentury modern appearance. Crafted from oak, tempered smoked glass, polished stainless steel, and alcantara, Balestra measures 1000mm*750mm*520mm and weighs 12kg.
Designed and realized by Nikolay Vladykin in Veliky Novgorod, the project commenced in June 2020 and concluded in December 2020. Balestra has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category for its practical and innovative design that integrates industry best practices.
