Renowned designer Harry Miesbauer unveils the 75ft Explorer, a sailing yacht crafted to embody the true essence of freedom at sea. The yacht is designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -15°C to 40°C, making it suitable for journeys across the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and even Alaska.
Constructed using hybrid glass/carbon-sandwich technology, the 75ft Explorer features a carbon mast, rod rigging, and a CNC milled high-strength steel fin with a lifting keel. With a length overall of 23.100m and a maximum beam of 5.850m, this remarkable yacht boasts a displacement of approximately 39,000kg and a sail area of 299.1m2 (upwind).
The innovative design also incorporates a fully hybrid propulsion system to minimize emissions, allowing the yacht to operate in environmentally protected areas. The cockpit is strategically designed to provide a well-protected area for long offshore passages, while the navigation area offers easy access to the steering controls, ensuring optimal functionality for the crew.
