Tattoo-Inspired Coffee Table Unveiled by Stella Nanni

Stella Nanni's "Piece Of Your Story" is a coffee table that transcends functionality, embodying the essence of tattoo artistry in furniture design. Motivated by a social project covering scars with tattoos, the table aims to evoke the same sense of fulfillment and exclusivity. Crafted by professional tattoo artists, each piece is a unique art form, featuring hand-tattooed leather and brushed steel legs.

Every "Piece Of Your Story" table is meticulously hand-stitched onto nude leather, creating an authentic and exclusive look. The use of epoxy resin ensures durability, allowing the table to support wet objects without concern for staining. Additionally, the design prioritizes sustainability, with disassembled table legs for efficient transportation, reducing fuel consumption.

Measuring 800mm in width, 500mm in depth, and 270mm in height, this coffee table offers a perfect balance between art and functionality. The table legs are easily assembled and disassembled, enhancing its practicality. The project, initiated in January 2021, was completed in February 2021 in Campinas, Sao Paulo.

Stella Nanni's design research focused on the increasing popularity of tattoos and their integration into home decor. Overcoming challenges related to material selection and shipping efficiency, the team successfully brought the culture of tattoo art into the realm of furniture design.

Stella Nanni, a renowned visual artist with two international design awards, has been at the forefront of merging art with design and decoration. Alongside Gabriel Nanni, she leads the Tattoo Truck Tour project, providing free tattoo services to women who have undergone breast cancer, promoting self-esteem and quality of life. The "Piece Of Your Story" coffee table has been honored with the Iron A' Design Award in 2021, recognizing its practicality, innovation, and positive impact on the industry.
