Snowfeet, the innovative combination of skiing and skating, is set to revolutionize winter sports with its unique design and functionality. Created by a passionate team led by President Zbynek Suba, this project marks the beginning of a new era in the winter sports industry.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Two enthusiastic athletes' vision of short skis has led to the creation of Snowfeet, the shortest ski ever, offering a thrilling combination of skiing and skating. This innovative winter sport is the brainchild of a dedicated team, with President Zbynek Suba at the helm, aiming to establish a creative family-oriented company.
Snowfeet, slightly longer than winter boots, provide a unique downhill skiing experience that can be enjoyed on slopes and off-piste. The design's compactness and lightweight nature make it easily portable, offering access to narrow forest paths and other previously inaccessible areas.
Constructed using high-durability materials, Snowfeet are designed to accommodate regular winter boots, eliminating the need for specialized footwear. The design's technical specifications measure 390mm x 130mm x 40mm, ensuring a comfortable and versatile fit for all users.
The project, initiated in January 2017 in the Czech Republic, has since evolved, with the second model currently in development. Snowfeet made a significant impact at the 2019 Munich ISPO trade exhibition, earning recognition as a finalist.
The design process was underpinned by extensive research, focusing on the natural motion of the human foot and incorporating elements inspired by classic winter skis and racing cars. Overcoming numerous creative and technical challenges, the team, led by Zbynek Suba, dedicated over a year to testing and refining Snowfeet.
President Zbynek Suba, a passionate young entrepreneur, transitioned from a career in architecture to pursue his vision for Snowfeet. His commitment to innovation and quality has garnered prestigious accolades, including the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing Snowfeet's outstanding contribution to the sporting goods, fitness, and recreation equipment industry.
