Yuhe Chi Unveils Drago: A Modern Collection of Artistry Toy Dragons
Yuhe Chi, a fashion design BFA student at Parsons School of Design, presents Drago, a modern collection of artistry toy dragons that infuse a contemporary aesthetic into the traditional concept of dragon figurines. Inspired by the amalgamation of various animals in ancient Chinese dragon mythology, Drago offers a fresh take on interior design and collecting.
Each Drago stands at 3 inches in height and is meticulously hand-painted, showcasing detailed craftsmanship that exudes a playful sensibility. The collection features six different styles and twelve unique looks, making each piece a captivating addition to any space.
Utilizing digital construction and 3D printing with white PLA and 0.1mm thick layers, Drago is then polished and sprayed with a top coat. The intricate details are hand-painted with acrylic and finished with a shining coat, resulting in a visually stunning and durable product.
