Fernando Correa's WAW Collection Unveils the Be Water Lamp, a Multi-Sensorial Experience Inspired by Nature
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fernando Correa's WAW Collection introduces the Be Water lamp, a linear, modular, recessed, kinetic decorative LED lamp that emulates the hypnotic effect of sunlight reflected on the surface of moving water. The lamp, available in four color variations inspired by the elements in nature, offers a multi-sensorial experience when combined with room fragrances and relaxation music playlists. Exhibited as a prototype in Salone del Mobile in 2019 and launched in Milan Design Days in 2020, Be Water is a patented design that has been recognized with the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2021.
The Be Water lamp is a unique piece entirely made by Italian craftsmen, featuring handmade glass cylinders shaped to mimic the surface of moving water, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. The lamp's design allows for a kinetic, soothing effect as light is refracted through a deformed glass cylinder that rotates on its axis, projecting fluctuating flares of light. The lamp's components include a motor unit, 1 to 6 modules, and 1 to 6 glass cylinders, with optional color filter accessories to create different color variations.
Designed for installation inside a light cove or behind furniture, the Be Water lamp offers a mesmerizing visual experience, leaving only the moving light visible. The lamp can be purchased with a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 6 modules for the motor, depending on the desired length. Each lamp packaging includes a gift box with gloves to handle the glass cylinders, an installation kit tube with tools, room fragrance samples, and scratch 'n' sniff samples of fragrances, offering a complete sensory experience.
WAW Collection's Be Water lamp is a testament to Fernando Correa's dedication to creating furnishing accessories, lighting, and design objects that evoke emotions of wonder. With over 23 years of international experience in retail design, Fernando Correa has consistently combined elegance, simplicity, and carefully selected materials to create designs that push the boundaries of art, science, and technology, contributing to societal wellbeing.
