Introducing Bavvic, the unique minimalistic toy/building blocks designed to engage children in a culture of learning through a creative hands-on approach, created by Maciej Sokolnicki in Zurich, Switzerland at the end of 2020.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Maciej Sokolnicki, an award-winning architect, and the team have created Bavvic, a set of multifunctional, sensory open-ended building blocks made from recycled wooden leftovers from furniture and windows production. These blocks are designed to encourage children's interest in education through geometrical shapes and abstract forms, promoting a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) approach to play and learning.
The wooden blocks, primarily made from local beech tree leftovers, are combined with BFA toxic-free silicon connectors, making Bavvic a safe and eco-friendly toy for children. The toy is inclusive, supporting, engaging, and intuitive, catering to children of all ages and abilities, promoting cognitive, motoric, and creative skill development.
Recognized for its innovation and impact, Bavvic has been awarded the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in the Toys, Games, and Hobby Products category in 2022, reflecting its outstanding creativity and contribution to the world of children's toys.
