Art Installation and Pavilion Showcases Nature-Inspired Resting Nest

Renowned artist Cheng Tsung FENG's nature-inspired Green-Backed Tit Nesting Plan, designed by YI-CHANG CHEN, brings a unique art installation and pavilion to Ita Thau Pier at Sun Moon Lake. Mimicking the delicate nest-building techniques of the Green-backed Tit, the installation offers visitors a tranquil resting space amidst the stunning lakes and imposing mountains, creating a harmonious blend of art and nature.

The nest-like installation invites visitors to step inside, offering a serene space to rest and find inner peace. The lighting design, focused on creating an illumination balance between the environment and visitors, enhances the ambiance. Integrated with the structure, the lighting fixtures provide proper light distribution and cut-off angles, ensuring a glare-free atmosphere that sustains the tranquility of Sun Moon Lake.

Measuring 5000mm in width, 5000mm in depth, and 3300mm in height, the Green-Backed Tit Nesting Plan stands as a testament to the fusion of art, nature, and architectural innovation, earning YI-CHANG CHEN the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022 for outstanding expertise and innovation in lighting products and fixtures design.
