Introducing Toodo, a smart full oral hygiene device designed to deliver a whole new oral cleaning experience for the 18 to 40 age group, combining technology and material to illustrate full oral hygiene is not only cleaning teeth.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tairan Li, the visionary industrial designer behind Toodo, recognized the growing importance of oral hygiene as a sensual expression of fashion and life attitude. Traditional toothbrushes, with their bristle structure, are breeding grounds for nourishing bacteria. Toodo, made of polyurethane elastomer gel, offers a high deformability and plasticity to make better contact with each tooth surface and enamel. It works with a specialized cleaning gel and sonic vibration motor board to achieve both chemical and physical cleaning, as well as teeth whitening through cold light activation.
Measuring 120mm(L) x 58mm(W) x 130mm(H), Toodo comes with a charging case measuring 185mm(L) x 88mm(W) x 120mm(H). The device automatically starts operating when the user bites on the mouthpiece, delivering a comprehensive oral cleaning experience. After use, the device can be rinsed with water and placed in the case for disinfection and charging, ready for the next use.
Started in 2017 and completed in 2019 in Syracuse, Toodo's development was driven by research revealing the need for a more effective and user-friendly oral hygiene solution. Tairan Li and Chao Huang were the key members of the design team, overcoming challenges to ensure the product met the IP56 standard for waterproofing and dustproofing.
