OHAUS Unveils Guardian 7000 Hotplate Stirrer with Integrated Smart Technology

OHAUS proudly presents the Guardian 7000 Hotplate Stirrer, designed by Michael Manera, a groundbreaking innovation in laboratory equipment. With a focus on safety and performance, the Guardian 7000 integrates Smart technology to provide unparalleled protection and precise control. The product launch took place in March 2020 at Pittcon 2020 in Chicago, following a design process that began in September 2017 in Thorofare, New Jersey.

The Guardian 7000 Hotplate Stirrer is equipped with SmartPresence, SmartLink, SmartRate, SmartHeat, SafetyHeat, and SmartHousing, setting new standards for safety and functionality in laboratory equipment. The unit's modern design incorporates patent-pending safety features and superior heating and mixing performance, ensuring precise sample control and peace of mind for lab operations.

Utilizing injection molding of chemically resistant resins, the Guardian 7000 remains cool even at a maximum temperature of 500°C. The internal electronics feature automatic safety features using Bluetooth and infrared technology, setting new benchmarks for safety and performance in the industry. The product comes in three sizes, catering to diverse laboratory needs.
