Ariel Palanzone's personal collection of lamps presents an innovative proposal in relation to the conception of lighting objects, which in addition to fulfilling their primary purpose also have a strong sculptural charge that gives them an artistic function and makes them unique. The floor lamp is influenced by kinetic art, so through its articulated and flexible structure the user can direct the light at will. The nightstand lamp resembles a bitten apple in shape, playing here with the metaphor of light as a source of creativity so that the user can feel inspired to use it as a study and reading lamp.

Ariel Palanzone introduces a personal collection of lamps that redefine the conception of lighting objects. These lamps not only fulfill their primary purpose but also carry a strong sculptural charge, making them unique and artistically functional.
The floor lamp, influenced by kinetic art, features an articulated and flexible structure, allowing users to direct the light at will. On the other hand, the nightstand lamp, resembling a bitten apple in shape, serves as a metaphor for light as a source of creativity, inspiring users to utilize it as a study and reading lamp.
The collection's characteristic feature is the sensuality of the "stretching" of its curved shapes, generating tensions that give dynamism and innovative value to the pieces. The use of translucent materials allows light to pass through in a diffuse way, creating a veiled and mysterious atmosphere.
Realized using 3D printing in flexible material, the lamps come with tactile devices that allow users to regulate the intensity and directionality of the light based on the type of pressure exerted. The floor lamp measures 120 cm in height by 35 cm wide and 25 cm deep, while the nightstand lamp stands at 21 cm in height by 10 cm wide and 10 cm deep.
This project has been exhibited from August to December 2022 in various fairs, art, and design spaces in Buenos Aires. The design team, led by Ariel Palanzone and Alberto Palanzone, overcame the challenge of finding the right balance between conceptual ideas and technical realization possibilities, maintaining the minimalist, sophisticated, and elegant essence of the collection.
Ariel Palanzone is a designer with a predilection for minimalist art and design, geometric and surreal art. His style is experimental, always seeking to take on new challenges and contribute to society within the field of design.
