FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mod-Ice: Redefining Suburban Train Travel

Oguzhan Topcuoglu's Mod-Ice is a suburban train design tailored for modern and hot climate cities, aiming to provide a visually and physically cool atmosphere for voyagers. The design features dynamically moving ice cube patterns that create an abstraction of a cool airflow, complemented by lighting that enriches the refreshing perception. The train's sharp and simple lines make it a compatible fit for the silhouette of a modern city, while the cool and light color usage enhances the perception of spaciousness, offering a comfortable long trip in hot weathers.

The train's interior dimensions and materials have been carefully calculated and selected to ensure a lightweight yet durable construction. The use of identical perforated sheet metals for the ceiling and FRP side panels, along with textured tempered glasses next to doors, contributes to the overall cooling effect. The train also features separated areas for small bags, big luggage, baby carriages, bicycles, and wheelchairs, embracing a wide scope of voyagers.

Mod-Ice is designed to operate in medium-haul distances such as airports, suburban areas, and outer city regions, providing a modern and comfortable transportation solution for urban commuters.
