Introducing the Music Pen Cap: A Novel Way of Communication

Designer JiaYi Cai Redefines Pen Cap Design with Tumbler Pen Cap

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Revolutionary Pen Cap Design for Children's Drawing

JiaYi Cai introduces the Music Pen Cap, a revolutionary pen cap design that redefines the way we communicate through painting. The cap, inspired by the tumbler, incorporates visual, tactile, and auditory senses to create a new way of expression.

The Music Pen Cap is a set of pen caps that can produce different sound levels, targeting children aged 7 to 12 as the first choice for drawing. It optimizes the covers of watercolor pens, serving as a musical instrument with the combination of tumbler pen caps and gamut, offering longer service life and increased functionality.

The pen cap is made using a special color material with different thickness and can be produced using 3D printing techniques or PP/ABS plastic materials for mass production. Its dimensions are 18*18*53(mm).

Designer JiaYi Cai, along with JiaLiang Cai, ZhiPing Chen, and ShaoShi Yan, has created a unique pen cap that not only enhances the auditory development of children but also maintains their interest in painting. The project was completed in Macau in April 2019, after starting in January 2019.

The Music Pen Cap is a winner of the Iron A' Design Award in 2020, recognized for its practical and innovative design that meets professional and industrial requirements. The design aims to resonate with people's subconscious, offering a novel experience in painting and music.
