Wenhan Zhang's Season Stool is a response to the needs of younger consumers who seek simple, multifunctional, and portable furniture for their urban lifestyles. The stool, doubling as a side table, features hidden storage and a removable top cushion, providing flexibility and adaptability to various living spaces. Crafted with sustainable materials, the stool is designed to cater to contemporary living habits.

The interior structure of the Season Stool is made of solid wood and microparticles low in formaldehyde, ensuring sustainability and durability. Its unique design includes a hidden support for easy movement and a removable top cushion that transforms it into a side table or reveals hidden storage within the stool. The stool's contemporary and multifunctional design makes it suitable for residential indoor settings, offering practical storage solutions for everyday items.

Wenhan Zhang's Season Stool project commenced in September 2021 in China and was completed in December 2021. The production of the stool is set to begin in May 2022, catering to the evolving needs of modern urban dwellers.

Wenhan Zhang, a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a major in interior architecture, has been recognized for his innovative design with the Silver A' Design Award in 2022. The Season Stool exemplifies outstanding expertise and innovation, offering a remarkable level of excellence in both technical characteristics and artistic skill.
