Parachute Typefoundry Unveils The Stroke, a Typographic Coffee Mug

Parachute Typefoundry is proud to present "The Stroke," a typographic coffee mug designed by Yiannis Ghikas, inspired by the at symbol and the golden ratio principle. This extra fine porcelain mug embodies a deep soulful spirit, celebrating humanity's universal need for connectivity, unity, and peace.

Designed under the golden ratio principle, The Stroke offers a unique aesthetic and functionality, adhering to strict mathematical laws. The mug introduces its owner to a symbol of celestial importance, implementing a unique stroke that terminates with a sharp slit into the porcelain, creating a distinctive visual and tactile experience.

Made with extra fine white porcelain, The Stroke features a matte exterior and a glossy interior, with the brand's signature logo silkscreen printed in silver. Delivered in a custom box made of recycled paper, the package includes a booklet with full description, historical references, production process, and specifications.

The Stroke has a capacity of 325 ml and is suitable for use with hot/cold drinks. It is both microwave and dishwasher safe, providing a versatile and practical addition to any coffee lover's collection.

Charmingly moulded at the bottom of the mug, the at symbol offers an excellent conversation starter, encouraging connectivity and interaction. The design team, led by Yiannis Ghikas and Creative Director Panos Vassiliou, spent two years crafting this exceptional piece in Athens, Greece.
