Introducing Tenki, a groundbreaking digital toy designed by Linglin Liang to connect children with digital life in a low-threshold form, promoting STEAM education.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Linglin Liang's Tenki is a revolutionary splice type digital toy designed to provide basic power knowledge for children through different power generation modules and the combination of power modules. With a magnetic suction module built into the toy structure, the design aims to avoid the hidden dangers of wire exposure commonly found in traditional electronic toys, making it a safe and accessible option for children.
This innovative toy allows children to choose connectors and conceive building blocks, select and assemble the appropriate power generation and consumption modules, and explore various combinations of energy conversion. For instance, children can create a simple hand buzzer by energizing it with a hand-cranked generator, promoting hands-on learning and creativity.
The project, which started in September 2022 and finished in December 2022 in China, involved extensive research combining STEAM education and digital toys. Linglin Liang overcame technical challenges related to high-precision assembly within the limited space of the connector to bring this unique design to life.
