'Water Droplet' - A Harmony of Water and Fire

Xin Wang's 'Water Droplet' coffee set draws inspiration from the fluidity of water droplets, offering a unique and dynamic experience. The set includes a coffee pot, cups, saucers, and a fruit plate, all showcasing different forms of water, such as roundness, fullness, and flow. The design harmoniously combines the elements of water, fire, and earth, with ceramics being the product of these natural forces.

The production process involves 3D printing resin models, plaster mold casting slip, and firing the porcelain clay to 1250℃, resulting in a mellow and lively finish. The technical specifications of the set are meticulously crafted, with each piece designed to enhance the user's coffee experience.

The 'Water Droplet' coffee set was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in 2023, recognizing its exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and innovative design. This accolade celebrates the set's outstanding expertise, remarkable craftsmanship, and ability to evoke positive emotions and wonder.
