FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Flower Stool: A Versatile and Colorful Addition to Kids' Spaces

Renowned designer Yuko Inamine has unveiled the Flower Stool, a unique and versatile furniture piece designed to cater to children's curiosity and adapt to evolving lifestyles. Inspired by the shift towards long-term product usage, the Flower Stool seamlessly integrates into daily life, offering functionality beyond a traditional stool.

The Flower Stool's standout feature is its original plywood, crafted from colored paper, which not only adds visual appeal but also induces rotational movement, making it visually engaging for children. This innovative design allows the stool to transform into a side table, magazine rack, or even a shelf, adapting to the changing needs of the user.

Constructed with safety and comfort in mind, the seat surface is made from original molded plywood, ensuring a secure and comfortable sitting experience for children. The colorful laminated plywood, featuring vibrant stripes of pink, blue, and wood, adds a playful touch to the design, making it an attractive addition to any kids' space.

Measuring 350mm×350mm×400mm, the Flower Stool is a testament to Inamine's dedication to woodworking technology and her commitment to creating functional yet visually appealing designs. The project, which commenced in April 2022 and concluded in February 2023 in Japan, reflects her extensive research and innovative approach to furniture design.

Yuko Inamine, based in Okinawa, Japan, is known for her colorful and nature-inspired designs, with a focus on creating products that add vibrancy to living spaces. Her work, which often incorporates wood, showcases her dedication to blending convenience and flexibility in her designs, reflecting her deep-rooted interest in Japanese culture.
