Smart Air-conditioned Controller Designed by Jervis Chua

Jervis Chua's Ambi Climate Mini is a smart air-conditioned controller that stands out with its unique design inspired by the calmness and warmth of a ceramic teacup placed on a wooden coaster. This inspiration humanizes the technology, making the device feel welcoming and friendly, removing any intimidation factors.

The Ambi Climate Mini uses A.I. to learn user's comfort preferences and automatically manage the air-conditioner, providing a multi-orientational form designed to blend in seamlessly in any home or office space. The device operates through the Ambi Climate App, available on both iOS Appstore and Google Play store, and pairs with the AC through a simple setup process in the app.

Manufacturing began in August 2020, and the Ambi Climate Mini officially launched in October 2020. The project started in April 2019 in Hong Kong, where Jervis Chua hails from. The design was awarded Bronze in A' Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design Award in 2021, recognizing its outstanding and creatively ingenious design.
