Explorer: Scientific Research Vehicle

Shengtao Ma's Explorer is a groundbreaking scientific research vehicle designed to meet the increasing demand for exploration tools in extreme environments. Drawing inspiration from the adaptability of chameleons, the vehicle features a unique color scheme inspired by the reptile's skin, allowing it to blend into various natural scenes. The modular design, influenced by the bionics of frog bones, enables the vehicle to switch between driving modes, providing adaptability to different terrains and climates.

The Explorer boasts spacious living and scientific research compartments, offering researchers a comfortable and functional space for their work. Its all-weather amphibious multi-function capabilities allow it to drive in snow, desert, beach, Gobi, mountain, and water, making it suitable for a variety of harsh natural conditions. The vehicle's innovative structure and design ensure it meets the needs of scientific researchers, providing them with better living and scientific research space and driving experience.

Designed at Qingdao University of Technology, the Explorer project started in August 2022 and concluded in February 2023. Through extensive research and innovation, the vehicle overcame challenges in its structure and appearance, resulting in a futuristic and adaptable scientific research vehicle. Shengtao Ma's exceptional design was recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in 2023, showcasing its outstanding creativity and resourcefulness in the field of futuristic design.
