Award-winning designer Yibo Dai unveils a unique wooden educational toy designed to stimulate children's cognitive abilities

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Little Locksmith: Unlocking the World of Cognitive Development

Yibo Dai, in collaboration with Qiongzhi Qian and Linling Shi, has created "Little Locksmith," an industry-leading wooden educational toy designed to provide interactive fun for parents and children while meeting the requirements of children's multiple cognitive training. Inspired by key-switch mechanisms, this toy features five sets of keys and locks, each themed around animals, fruits, weather, marine life, and vehicles, offering cognitive exercises for children under 3 years old.

Combining cognition training and storytelling, each lock's body has two windows that can be opened, displaying objects related to the theme on the top window and corresponding scenes on the bottom. The choice of bright colors and cute animal shapes not only attracts children's attention but also integrates various cognitive exercises, saving users' purchase costs.

Moreover, parents can engage with their children by turning the scroll wheel in the bottom window to display different scenes, encouraging children to find and identify designated objects and telling them various interesting stories based on five attached picture-books.

Little Locksmith was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022, recognizing its well-designed, practical, and innovative nature that meets professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world.
