FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Hand Still: Participatory Art for Well-being Enhancement

Hand Still, a participatory art project by kenji fujii, yotaro hirahara, and mako sugiyama, focuses on improving well-being through creativity and connection. The project invites global participation by encouraging individuals to share their hand-expressed artwork on social networking sites, fostering a sense of community and gratitude.

Utilizing the "System Design Methodology for Intentionally Creating Well-being" from Keio University Graduate School, Hand Still incorporates four key factors for improving well-being: self-actualization and growth, connection and gratitude, positive and optimistic mindset, and independence and self-identity.

Participants are encouraged to imagine hand and finger poses, capture a photograph, and share it on social media platforms with the tag "Hand Still." By engaging with the artwork and creating their own, individuals can enhance their creativity and overall well-being.
