Reconstruction and Interior Design of Zamek Na Skale

Zbigniew Nojszewski has transformed the historic Zamek Na Skale into a luxury historical hotel, preserving its individual historic values while introducing modern functionality. The project, which began in August 2004, involved meticulous reconstruction and interior design to create a unique hotel experience within the castle's walls.

The project involved the preservation of historic rooms, restoration of original decor elements, and the removal of secondary divisions to create a clear layout of functions and modern technical solutions for the comfort of guests. The hotel now boasts 50 rooms with bathrooms, a restaurant, conference rooms, and wellness facilities within its 3210 m² area.

The reconstruction and interior design were developed in stages, considering conservation guidelines and the introduction of new functions in a specific standard, both usable and aesthetic. The project faced challenges such as working within the limitations of the historic space and the discovery of broken stone walls and vaults, which required careful planning and execution.

The historic building of Zamek Na Skale, dating back to the late 16th century, has been successfully transformed into a luxury hotel, blending modern amenities with the charm and character of its historical setting. The hotel officially started operating in 2006, with ongoing design, construction, and arrangement works carried out over the following years. The recent completion of the new arrangement of the wellness rooms in the former castle stables further enhances the guest experience.

Zbigniew Nojszewski, a prominent figure in the hospitality industry, has dedicated his career to the preservation and revitalization of historical buildings for use as hotels. As the chairman of the board for Neya Sp. z o.o., Nojszewski oversees the management of the exquisite 4-star Zamek Na Skale hotel, which is situated within a beautifully restored historical castle. Under his leadership, the hotel has flourished and serves as a shining example of the potential for adaptive reuse of historical buildings in the hospitality industry.
