The Thermaltrex sleeping bag addresses a critical need for fire safety among homeless populations and campers by utilizing a unique, permanently fire-retardant polar fleece that requires no chemical treatments or coatings. This innovation not only enhances user safety but also ensures the product remains machine washable and recyclable, setting a new standard in outdoor gear.

The Thermaltrex fabric, developed over three years of rigorous research and testing, meets both the FAA 4-ply Airline Blanket and EN71-2 Child Safety fire standards, while also passing Europe's stringent REACH chemical safety requirements. Unlike traditional sleeping bags made from easily flammable polyester or nylon, Thermaltrex's 330gsm polar fleece is inherently fire retardant, colorfast, mildew resistant, and offers UPF50 sun protection. Its design allows for easy cleaning without damaging the insulation, maintaining warmth and comfort even after repeated washes.

With over 19,500 units distributed to date, the Seasonfort sleeping bag features practical innovations such as the ability to zip two bags together for double use, reversible YKK zips for mobility, and a multi-use 6L dry bag for convenient storage. Silver reflective ropes and distinctive branding highlight its commitment to safety and social impact, as proceeds support the Backpack Bed for Homeless charity.
