Ather Energy, the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle pioneer, has announced the launch of Halo, a smart helmet engineered to transform the daily commute for two-wheeler riders. Drawing inspiration from the effortless integration of accessories like the Apple Pencil and AirPods, the Ather Halo delivers a blend of safety, convenience, and immersive audio, specifically designed for use with Ather's electric scooters such as the Rizta and 450 series. The helmet's ISI and DOT-certified shell ensures top-tier protection, while its advanced features set a new benchmark for smart riding gear.

The Ather Halo stands out with its Auto Wear Detection, which automatically powers the helmet on or off when worn or removed, providing seamless access to music, calls, and helmet-to-helmet communication. The built-in Bluetooth speakers, tuned by Harman Kardon, offer high-quality sound without compromising road awareness, allowing riders to enjoy audio while staying alert to their surroundings. All vital electronics are safely housed outside the helmet shell in an IP65-rated, impact-grade enclosure, ensuring both safety and durability.

Wireless charging is another hallmark of the Halo, enabling riders to recharge the helmet effortlessly by simply placing it in the under-seat storage of the Ather Rizta or attaching the magnetic wireless charger. Onboard media controls are integrated into the scooter's handlebar, allowing riders to manage music and calls without taking their hands off the controls. Additional features include a noise-rejecting microphone for clear communication and a battery life of up to 12 hours, making the Halo a practical and stylish companion for urban mobility.
